For sale: Parallel Packs - The RC Battery Clinic: A great tutorial on battery packs from hangtimes.com Good Tip On Storing CA Adhesives: Steve, that operates the Wright Flyer mobile hobby shop that we see at most RC events in Florida, has this tip on the use and storing of your CA adhesives and accelerators. He states "Never leave your CA and an accelerator side by side for any extended period of time". The accelerator odors apparently bleed through the plastic container and cause the CA to harden prematurely. He has had cases of CA harden when stored in close proximity to the accelerator. You may have had this happen to you and not know the reason why. I have. New Membership Cards And Flightline Passes: Here is Larry Honigman holding his new 2010 Flightline Pass, with his new 2010 Membership Card attached to his transmitter. All Flightline Passes must be visible in your vehicle when you come to fly. If you are flying on the Ham Band or 72 Mhz, place your membership card on the frequency board when you pick up your pin, just as you always have. But this is new -------- If you are flying on 2.4 Mhz, the BOD asks that you pin your membership card to your transmitter while flying. You do not need to impound your 2.4 Mhz transmitter nor place a membership card on the frequency board. Your Board of Directors intends to strictly enforce these policies. If you do not already have your new card and pass, they are stored in the shed at the field, and you can pick them up the next time you come to fly. They will not be mailed. Remember, the shed combination is the same combination as the frequency board lock. Your Loving Board of Directors
ATTENTION: New Start Time For Saturday: We have received another complaint from our neighbor across the waterway. The lady claims we are flying over her house and while we are certain that she is confusing us with the several seaplanes that fly off the waterway near her house, we are trying to be good neighbors and have voluntarily agreed to not start any gas, glow or turbine engines before 9:00AM on Saturday. Electrics only before 9:00AM. Please comply and help us get along with our neighbors. Your Board of Directors
